Prophets were sent with miracles according to their time as proof of their prophet hood. For example, the miracle of Prophet Musa (AS) was to turn his staff into a snake, because magic was important during that time. During the time of Prophet ‘Isa (AS) there were lots of diseases and epidemics, so he would heal the blind and sick, and with the permission of Allah he would bring the dead back to life.
Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) brought the greatest miracle, which is the Holy Qur’an. Unlike the other prophets, his miracle lives even today and will be the living miracle until the Day of Judgment. The miracle of the Holy Quran was also based upon what was important during that time as the Arabs were very proud of their language and poetry, but they could not bring a single verse to match that of the Holy Quran no matter how hard they tried.
